The highlight of this day would be the visit from the local fire department. They came through the building to get acquainted with the insides incase there was a fire. Two of them were particularly taken with the huge city map mounted on the wall outside my office. I must say, they are one of the cutest group of firemen I’ve seen in awhile..

Elmwood Park

I was taking a stroll through Elmwood Park with my nearest and dearest and had to take a few photos with the cell phone. The nice thing about Omaha, is that everything is so green. Having lived in California and Colorado, you come to cherish the green landscapes of Omaha. Not the humidity though.. it’s the devil!

Three’s Company

Now that the weather is getting nicer, I’ve been making a point of going for walks around the neighborhood that surrounds my office building. My girlfriend and I always make a point to walk past this house with 2 dogs, a Bull Dog I named Pudgy Pudgecicle, and a Boston Terrier I named, Borus. We haven’t seen them since last fall, so we were quite surprised to see an addition to the crew. I shall name him… Porky Porkfritter. So ladies and gentlemen, I introduce you to (from left to right) Porky Porkfritter, Pudgey Pudgecicle and Borus.
